Kat Skibinski – Language Arts Teacher

Kat Skibinski grew up in Orange County, California, where inspiring teachers sparked her passion for education. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Education from Northern Arizona University and holds both a Single Subject Teaching Credential in High School Language Arts and a Multiple Subject Credential for grades 1–8.

Kat is passionate about teaching novels and stories that left a lasting impact on her own education. She believes the classroom should be an uplifting, supportive community where students feel encouraged to think deeply, express themselves, and become responsible citizens. Her lessons are purposeful, hands-on, and connected to real-world applications, making learning engaging and meaningful.

In her free time, Kat enjoys painting enjoying time with friends and often brings her creativity into the classroom, giving students opportunities to express themselves artistically.
