Dina Stefanov, founder of Creative STEAM, is a homeschooling mother of five whose passion for meaningful, future-focused education led her to create what began as a small Science Pod and has since grown into a dynamic private homeschool learning program..

Dina started Creative STEAM as a passion project to enrich her own children’s education and serve the homeschool community. After searching for high-quality programs that blended science, art, creativity, and academic depth, she realized there was a real need for something more. What she created is a learning environment where curiosity is cultivated, creativity is celebrated, and students are challenged to grow into thoughtful, capable, and confident young people.

With a background in design, business, and a deep love for children and learning, Dina built Creative STEAM to offer families something she felt was missing: academically rich, creative, and engaging classes that nurture the whole child while preparing students for the real world. Her vision has always been bigger than enrichment alone. She believes education should equip children not just to succeed in school, but to thrive in life.

A passionate advocate for education reform and parent-choice education, Dina believes the future of learning must go beyond memorization, passive screen time, and clicking through answers on Chromebooks. She believes children need real skills: strong reading and writing, critical thinking, logical reasoning, life skills, meaningful history, and a classical foundation that teaches them how to think, not just what to memorize.

At the same time, Dina recognizes that technology is shaping the future and that responsible, intelligent use of AI will be an essential skill for the next generation. She believes students must learn how to use technology and AI as tools while still developing the human skills that matter most; discernment, creativity, communication, logic, and independent thought. In her view, these are the skills that will keep humans capable, adaptable, and employable in a rapidly changing world.

She believes that when children are supported by an environment of love, encouragement, and high expectations, they do more than learn they thrive.
