Hands on Science- Registration Fee $150

In this class, students learn basics in Science and Engineering through experimentation, lab work and hands-on projects.. Following a custom Project Based Curriculum that supports and is taught to NGSS (Next Generations Science Standards), CC (Common Core), Industry Influenced, and ICAN standards. Curriculum is flexible to accommodate changes in lessons according to student progression. Students, as the lessons build upon prior knowledge, students will start forming hypothesis and create independent experiments. In this class, various subjects of Science will be covered along with the areas of science and engineering.
Students will also receive a Lab Journal and Science Folder. Each day, students will record lessons, attach handouts and work into their lab books where they will keep their notes from each class. Note taking is part of this course, students will jot daily the main concepts and idea of the lesson and begin to form their own creative theories, hypothesis and document their experiments. This is to make things easier to document our hands on science to present to charter schools thats ask students to provide clear science samples.
$200/month billed monthly, due on the 1st of every month, 10 monthly payments, Aug-May. Families who join the class after August will be required to pay a $200 material fee.
